On 27 August, project partners gathered in Anhovo for a full-day meeting hosted by Alpacem Cement. The event combined technical discussions with an in-depth look at industrial operations and monitoring practices.
The meeting began with an introductory presentation of Alpacem’s production process. Participants then toured the cement plant, visiting the control room and the heat exchanger. The Visit to monitoring stations and the plant’s surroundings provided further insight into the company’s environmental management and emission control efforts.
The afternoon session was dedicated to reviewing the progress of Work Packages. Building on the outcomes of the pre-summer meeting, partners presented updates from their respective tasks. The discussion focused on consolidating progress, aligning future steps, and ensuring smooth coordination across the consortium.
The host, Alpacem, played a key role in facilitating both the technical visit and the organizational aspects of the meeting, providing valuable context for the project’s work on industrial processes and environmental performance. The meeting strengthened collaboration among partners and set the stage for the next phase of activities.
